Temporary Protected Status: How to Best Protect Clients

Description: This webinar will provide an overview of the rights and protections afforded to individuals holding Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and individuals with pending TPS applications, including protection against deportation, employment authorization and travel abroad, and the eligibility of some recipients to adjust to lawful permanent resident status. The panel also will discuss litigation challenges to the Trump administration’s efforts to terminate and shorten the period of TPS protection for individuals from Venezuela and Haiti.
