NEEDED: A FEW GOOD IMMIGRATION PRACTITIONERS TO JOIN US FOR CONSULTATIONS ON Saturday November 1st , 11am FOR CONSULTATIONS AFTER THE COMMUNITY MEETING:
Date: November 1st at 10:00am – CONSULTATIONS START AT 10:45
Location: Saint Louis Bertrand Catholic Church-1410 100th Ave, Oakland, CA 94603
Parish Hall (If you have a hard time finding it that day, call me that day only at (510) 459-8696)
Sponsoring Community Organization – OCO – description below, and the Immigrant Legal Resource Center
The purpose of the meeting is two-fold: a) inform people about the California Drivers License for undocumented community b) to offer individual consultations on related immigration issues
Your participation is critical in accomplishing both objectives.
We invite you to witness the entire meeting. For those with more limited time, we need you to arrive a few minutes before the time set for the start of the consultations (above). The organization will introduce all the attorneys to the audience at the end of the meeting – before the consultations begin.
These consultations are by necessity shorter than those you provide in your offices.
Practitioners have found this to be a great way to help the immigrant community help themselves, provide much needed information, and learn from colleagues.
Please confirm your participation by sending an email to Emma at OCO at emmap@oaklandcommunity.org
We hope you can join us.
OCO is a federation of 55 congregations and 25 schools members. OCO represents around 45,000 people in Oakland. We are a faith base non profit organizations
