The Corner Store is a new documentary made in San Francisco about Yousef Elhaj, a local Palestinian shop owner and long distance father struggling to make a new life for his family in America. It features AILA member Cara Jobson, Yousef’s immigration attorney, and portrays the heartfelt story of one man and his journey back home to reunite with his family after a ten year separation.
The filmmakers are hosting a local screening of the film on Wednesday, March 2nd and AILA members are invited to attend.
